“Sanctions must not be imposed on the Israel Defense Forces!” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “The intention to impose a sanction on a unit in the IDF is the height of absurdity and a moral low.”

Hopefully it's the first of many sanctions, you genocidal bastard.

The Israeli government has repeatedly argued that it has its own independent justice system in place to hold accountable those responsible for human rights abuses.

That "justice system" seems to work just about as well as the police oversight boards in the States.

Who gives a single wet shit what a genocider says about morals???

Well, think of it as a those old buoys with bells signalling reefs or shallow waters: this guy's words on morals are a warning of what to avoid rather than of what to follow.

It's a sanction against a single IDF battalion and he's throwing a massive fit over it.

Of course he does: it's all part of the agreed upon theatre that allows Biden to keep supporting Israel in all the ways that matter whilst being able to turn to any voters that might defect because of actually having enough Humanist principles that America's support in their name of an ongoing Genocide disgusts them and tell them "see: we're putting pressure on Netanyahu's government".

Netanyahu keeps getting 2000lb bombs from Biden to blow up entire nighbourhoods and schools in exchange from him doing some loud bitching and moaning for some zero-real-effect measure from the Biden Adminstration which is being portrayed as "putting pressure on Israel".

I mean, which genocidal near-NAZI Fascist wouldn't take such a deal?!

Of course. He'd throw a fit whether it was the whole country or just someone's nephew doing an internship, because it works.

To the surprise of absolutely nobody.
