Feels like this is more a specific scenario than a genre, but I'm gonna take your word for it.

I would be interested to know just what is so hard to find given some of the things ~~I've~~ a friend sometimes searched for. But not enough to want to make others say aloud what they searched for.

I think I know a bit what you're talking about, I think.
