Should better get on another bird app like iNaturalist, very open minded people over there! ❤️

I tried that a bit while I was traveling and the ID by sound recording feature didn't really work for me. I dunno if you need pretty much absolute silence apart from the bird call but I thought I had pretty decent recordings the few times I tried it and it kept coming up with nothing.

You can try WhoBird. It's open source (available on fDroid) and runs completely locally on the phone. I've had decent success with it even in noisy environments.
