A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

anecdote: during the pandemic every day seemed the same. i sometimes forgot ro shower for a few days. so i put a water sensor in my shower. when i shower, it starts a macrodroid automation that records the date. another macro plans and reminds me when it's shower time.
Yes, I, too, feel very real emotions like a desire to run water over my human skin. I definitely do not require microcontrollers to instruct me on when it is time to do so! Just like all completely normal humans. Of which I am one.
Not always, I'll often forget to shower until I look in the mirror and realize my hair needs to be washed. Peak pandemic I'd sometimes go a few weeks without showering until I could smell myself. Just not something that's on my mind most of the time.
OP doesn't lie
We have a great macrocontroller, a brain.
Maybe not as reliable but definitely easier to program.
Except those times where it just stops writing to log files. Sometimes I'll be in the shower zoned out and find myself on the last step of my routine without remembering completing any of the steps.
Lieutenant Commander Data, is that you?
Nah, they didn't say anything about implementing voice activation by the command "engage".
My doctor called that depression.
nah, i just couldn't remember because all days were so similar. i was like "did i shower yet or was that yesterday" almost went mad ngl
