I’m going to politely suggest that “not falling into pitfall traps” falls under those boilerplate job duties nobody reads or gives a fuck about.
Just saying, it may be a relatively uncommon job duty…. But it is one.
Look if you want me to just stay alive on the job you're gonna have to put that in my contract and pay me for it
If it was not clearly identified, even if I see it, I'll intentionally fall in it to have an OSHA-paid vacation.
It falls (ha) under "Other duties as assigned" in the job description.
