There are 2 million people that live here and many don't have anything to do with gambling. Your comment is like calling Hawaii a bunch of surfers.

35% of Nevada's general fund revenue comes from gambling. 0% of Hawaii's comes from surfing.

Tourism is Hawaii's biggest industry, and to say nothing comes of one of their greatest draws is patently absurd.

Tourism isn't surfing.

Also Hawaii would be populated without surfers or tourism.

Hawaii doesn't require massive infrastructure to be habitable. Vegas is largely uninhabitable without it (just read up in the experience of the Mormons in Nevada).

Vegas only exists because the mafia promoted and controlled gambling. Saying otherwise is disingenuous, at best.
