My buddy was telling me how he's paying over $1100 for a single bedroom apartment that he's been in for 3 months, and he's already having AC issues. A former apartment he lived in, and paid less for, had AC issues in the middle of the night and they brought him a window AC that same night until it was fixed. New place that charges MORE? Nope.
For literally a third of one month's rent, from him alone, they could purchase one window AC unit to have on hand for situations like this, but do they/will they? Where the hell is this money for increasing rent going to if the quality of living doesn't go up as well?
