He did promise he wouldn't flood it again. But he didn't say anything about giant meteors.
That’s cause he didn’t know meteors existed when he flooded everything.
He learned that only a few hundred years later at most cause that's probably what he used to level Sodom and Gomorrah
And thoughts stars could just follow down to the ground.
Maybe he promised the dinosaurs.
The promise was that the entire world. Allah could flood and keep a single rock above the waters and be following the rules.
