Wait, is that a real gun? That looked like a toy to my non-American eyes

[-] Technoguyfication@sh.itjust.works 29 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

That’s just a sand colored SIG, very real gun.

Edit: Accidentally thought it was a Glock at first, my bad.

[-] potentiallynotfelix@iusearchlinux.fyi 15 points 10 months ago

That is a SIG idk the exact model

Yeah likely a p320 m18 or m17 in FDE. I didn't watch the video but he probably said that in the video aswell

[-] ahriboy@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 10 months ago

SIG broken. The accidental firings (one caught on camera) have ruined the trust of the company.

[-] Technoguyfication@sh.itjust.works 6 points 10 months ago

Ah shit you’re right, I didn’t look too closely at it. I saw the Lego brick shape and my mind went to Glock

Sig boys are seething

[-] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

Looks photoshopped in, though, and they blurred off markings

[-] dustyData@lemmy.world 14 points 10 months ago

If you were an American cop, you would've unloaded over a 100 rounds on this guy's back.

[-] floridaman 11 points 10 months ago

unloaded over 100 rounds on this guy's back if he's not white

FTFY

[-] ICastFist@programming.dev 7 points 10 months ago

Mental Outlaw isn't white, sooo...

[-] uis@lemm.ee 2 points 10 months ago

Well, if it comes from florida man...

[-] Takumidesh@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago

What about it makes it look like a toy?

[-] Churbleyimyam@lemm.ee 3 points 10 months ago

The fact that it looks like something from a 90s Judge Dredd comic and is a funny plasticcy colour. I would have totally gone for it when I was 9 though.

[-] gentooer@programming.dev 3 points 10 months ago

I don't really know, it just looks like a plastic toy your nephew would play with.

[-] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 3 points 10 months ago

Yes, that's a gun. Maybe its time for you to brush up on guns.

[-] gentooer@programming.dev 7 points 10 months ago

That's not really knowledge I need day to day, lol

[-] boredsquirrel@slrpnk.net 2 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Thats not needed knowledge in many areas of the world. Police is still shooting people in Germany,

But thats WAY less than in the US
