Hey guys
I just wanted to let you know I will no longer be making the new thread at midnight. If I'm awake at that time I'll do it otherwise I'll be asleep like a normal person.
I have enjoyed steering this ship the last few months and I hope you laughed at least once at my stupidity. I guess this is my resignation letter. I look forward to going back to my regular bedtime.

I did it because I'm a team player and I honestly got a kick out of sharing what popped into my head at midnight.
I was starting to get unexplained headaches and I've put it down to staying up way past my bedtime. I appreciate your thank you. โฅ
I was just too sick with sciatica for the last few months. I'm only just now nearly better. I can do it most evenings now.
Sciatica's a bitch.
If you can do the thread then do it but if you can't don't stress. The people here are very forgiving.
I loved doing them but everyone else did too, so I mostly just stand to the side ready to take the reigns if everybody else falls asleep. My sleep schedule is so fucking wild I can't ever guarantee I'll be awake at any time at all, I don't even know what time I'm going to bed tonight, just what time I have to be up in the morning, but most nights I am up til after midnight
Maybe we should start making a comment a few hours to midnight and see who wants to do the posting that night. If they fall asleep or get distracted, no worries, anybody else can post if they haven't within 10 mins of midnight or something
That sounds very sensible.
Can we say that if there's no post 15 mins after midnight, it's first in best dressed? Until Botbot comes back on line after his/her/their rest cure. After midnight, we're gonna let it all hang out ....

What ever happened to it? Things were fine and then I went off for a few days and then the bot just stopped posting and nobody ever mentioned it again
The program I was using stopped working when there was a Lemmy upgrade. I don't really have the knowledge to fix it, unfortunately. I intended to put in some time to try and work out a solution again but now have some real life issues going on which mean I just don't have the time at the moment.

Thank you! I would offer to take over but no force under the sun (or moon) sees me up at midnight unless things have gone very wrong. We'll figure something out. Maybe I can suss out a bot one day if I ever get time and space
