MODERATORS
Japanese kanji are from China. While reading is obviously different they share many characteristics. Just like our alphabet hasn't been invented in England even though we're using it to write English
It includes 3 other scripts in addition to kanji.
So? It also includes Simplified Hanzi which only has relation to the People's Republic of China and Singapore.
