If it’s 100x harder and more stressful than any other jobs, would it be fair to assume they’d pay about 100x the market rate?

$80-$120k is like mid-level. My expectation of devs at the mid-level is that I can give you a project that you might be successful, you might not, but that’s okay. You’re also not in critical systems or a first responder, because that’s a senior level position.
