Would it not be a problem if Shadow washed it by hand?

Is the Sonic family aware of how fast they are relative to material limitations?

What if he's so fast with his hands that he breaks the clothes more than the washing machine would? The point of hand washing is to be gentle with delicate pieces. Imagine being so fast but having to slow yourself down for a long period of time just to wash clothes. That would be a boring life.
