I don't disagree about the stuff you mentioned. That said, with the internet it's easy to find people saying crazy shit about any subject, so it's good to be careful about inferring views of a bunch of people from a small sample.
Clearly multiple anecdotes equals data. I am so glad observation bias is not a thing.
