It's over. Feels like losing an old friend. Let's morn the loss of our old community for a few days, remember that best of post and conversations, and more forward. This was our Summer "Eternal September" moment. Make this new home vibrant, share you passions, make closer friends, and keep coming back. Things are weird, so is change. It was home to many of us for 17 years, it's almost old enough to vote; and it's CEO did. So fuck /u/spez, welcome; make this the home you keep coming back to. @green_dragon@lemmy.world

I just deleted my 11 year old account completely, having using Power Suite Delete yesterday to delete the data on it.

My parting comment in the deletion dialog was thus where it asked "Help Reddit Improve":

"Reddit Management does not suffer from Imposter Syndrome.

Imposter Syndrome is when a fully capable individual feels as though they are not able to perform a job or task.

Reddit Management does not suffer from Imposter Syndrome, because that is EXACTLY how you should feel about yourselves.

Incompetent and incapable."

My account was banned due to the username. It was made in jest before the war in Ukraine. I'm glad they banned it though; it was a 10 year account.
