Does it seem the weather forecasts have been way off lately to anyone else? For instance today was meant to be a top of 25 and I think it only got to 21.
It got a bit over 27 here, and is currently sitting at 25.9.
In any case I would not call a few degrees "way off".
BOM would consider a margin of this error inaccurate. The Bureau considers itself ‘accurate’ if its prediction is within 2°C of what the temperature ends up being.

Edit: it finally got to 25 degrees in Hobson's bay, at 7 pm lol. I guess it got there eventually....
It got to 24 here.
