I think r/Melbourne on Reddit has really taken a hit. It's like someone let the air out of the balloon.
Agreed. It's sad we couldn't all remain together, but I think this place has the best of us
Unpopular opinion: I wish we would all move back to reddit. I like the layout better. It’s easier to use. I do not care about the politics, I’m all out of energy at the moment.
same here, i don't care about the platform so long as it's well populated, and although everyone here is great there's still a crew only posting on reddit and it's weird.
plus we can't give out or receive awards
I used my adblockers to block the element .awardings-bar across all pages on Reddit. Haven't seen an award on a comment or submission in years. Why? Because it's cleaner visually, less cluttered, and it allows me to make my own mind up about a comment or post.
Agreed. But I think we need to see the lay of the land after 1 July when the shit hits the fan
