It's 911 for all emergency services in the US.
But amazingly on mobile 112 also works in the US because of the GSM standard.
In that case it's a well kept secret.
Doesn't UK use 999 and US 911?
999 is the traditional number, but 112 goes to the same place (even if you're not calling from a mobile, where GSM requires 112 to work). No idea about the US.
112 connects to the same line as 999 in the UK.
We also have 111 for non-emergency medical issues, and 101 for non-emergency police.
