Flashback time:

One of the most important and beneficial trainings I ever underwent as a young writer was trying to script a comic. I had to cut down all of my dialogue to fit into speech bubbles. I was staring closely at each sentence and striking out any word I could.

"But then I paid for Twitter!"

Funny as there is not really that much of a need to cut down on speech bubbles. For example 3 panels from the Blake and Mortimer comic with an for that comic below average number of words. (Another example from the same strip series slow loading image btw)

The power of the medium is knowing what to show and what to tell.

(And yes I will keep bringing up Blake and Mort every time we redo this tweet).

Hurling ordure at the TREACLES, especially those closely related to LessWrong.

AI-Industrial-Complex grift is fine as long as it sufficiently relates to the AI doom from the TREACLES. (Though TechTakes may be more suitable.)

This is sneer club, not debate club. Unless it's amusing debate.

[Especially don't debate the race scientists, if any sneak in - we ban and delete them as unsuitable for the server.]
