Thank goodness the "liberal media" is going to bothsider us right into fascism.

FFS - if Biden is really "mentally unfit" or cannot finish his term - he's surrounded by capable people and there is a chain of succession if it comes to that.

As for t**** - he and his party/cult want to end this country as we know it and/or exact revenge on all their perceived enemies.

It is not even close to being apples and apples here. But the GD media is determined to keep pretending as if it is. Right up until the new and improved Nazis come for them.

I feel like at this point, age is really the only way to attack Biden, which he can't defend against. When he entered the office, it was still the pandemic, and the economy took a hit. Inflation seems to be settling down now, and it seems like the Fed may get away with the soft landing. In a year, the economy could be turning around, who knows. The Republicans want the Hunter Biden relationship to show that he's corrupt like Trump, but there's nothing there, and that will fizzle out before election day.

There's tons of other things to attack Biden on, but in most cases, it's an issue he inherited, something which might not be an issue in a year, or general Republicans inaction to make him look bad. Age is easy to attack because he can't be younger, and somehow voters are too dumb to realize Trump is just two years younger than Biden. Literally every sentence about age and physical/mental health applies to Trump as well.

My fear is Biden drops dead but Trump doesn't. It's the main reason I want an younger candidate. Like if Trump died no prob, if both died, or just Biden dies it presents a dangerous opportunity for Republicans to grab power. Theses guys are really old and can drop dead any day and we don't need the unnecessary risk.

Well, if Biden dies on the job after winning a second term, it will be just fine. If that happens while he's running, maybe it's someone like Newsom (even though he's apparently a bit of turncoat when it comes to things we value) that has to quickly be put in there, I don't know. A contingency plan would be good.

There are also issues that one can attack Biden on, but only from the left. Obviously, Trump won't use those issues because he'd be attacking from the right. (Or Trump will attempt to attack Biden from the right on these issues, but will fail at gaining any traction.)

Of course, I'll be voting for Biden if it's Biden vs Trump (or any other Republican). Hopefully, after 2024, though, the Democrats get some younger people in the White House.

According to economists, the economy has already turned around and things are great, and us stupid plebs need to get with the program.

This is exactly it. We’re way past the possibility of anyone credibly opposing Biden, so every single rational/reasonable American who thinks they have a choice is unfortunately deluding themselves. Either you vote for democracy and a flawed system that tries its best, or you vote for nihilistic fascists whose stated goal is to dismantle the administrative state. I wish we had more choices, but we don’t.
