It's kinda insane that the pentagram has been adopted to be a symbol for Satan (not that that would be anything bad) and be associated with all kinds of bad things. Its original use was to be a protective ward and stuff; not sure how its meaning could be tarnished so much.
Christianity and labeling anything they deem "unchristian" as Satanic. That's how.
Same reason we got "Explicit Content" warning stickers on Compact Discs with cuss words and "clean" versions of the same albums with cuss words censored out.
It's pretty bog standard for controlling authoritarians who rely on Faith and not evidence. Destroy any evidence that contradicts the "faithfuls" narrative, which is why you get book burnings and such.
Hateful people fear what they don't want to understand.
Because Christians turned it upside down and said “Oh wow… this star looks like a goat with horns”.
