Kelpie x collie. He's going to be a maniac

I hope you have somewhere between 500 and 1000 sheep in the yard...

Or anything else that can be rounded up. Children, chickens…

Socks, shoes, remote controls, various food items.

Small children will also do, in a pinch.

There’s a kind of toy called a “herding ball” that might be good for him.

It’s a weighted ball - you fill it with water or sand - that’s too big for him to get his mouth around it, so if he wants to take it anywhere he has to push it along and guide it so it comes with him. Basically he’d be proxy-herding it instead of you everywhere he goes. It might help give him an outlet and a job to do, so he’s productive instead of destructive.

Yeah nice I'll give them a look, cheers

Maybe herding tennis balls will help. My old kelpie/heeler cross loved his bicycle tyre on a rope tied to a tree branch. Hours of chewable and swingable fun.

Yeah I had a kelpie a while ago, makes golf practice in the backyard easy. He would bring the ball back for hours at a time
