That's the idea but being honest there aren't many nice streaming box. Like there is Roku and the Xiaomi one? What else? Fire TV? Chromecast I do not count because you need to cast to it.
I mean I guess you can setup a PC somehow but....
I have a Google Chromecast TV, good enough and cheap.
Oh so that's like with Google TV / Android TV ui without need of casting and you can install apps?
Yeah it's decently powerful as to not lag massively and you can disable most but not all of the ads / clutter they bundle with it.
Using a PC is definitely the easiest.
The Nvidia Shield is amazing.
Oh yeah that's another one.
