About us

We are a new AI advocacy organization launching publicly in late summer 2026. Our goal is to amplify everyday voices and build a broad-based movement capable of winning federal AI policy. We want policies that create an economy that works for everyone, not just Big AI; that defend our essential freedoms; and that prevent the development of AI systems that pose existential risks to humans and the planet.

For years the response to AI risk has been white papers and closed-door meetings

yep, it's our very good friends

lmao they’re offering 2 grand a week to anyone willing to organise a bier halle peutsch on their own college campus

or maybe more of an, i forget the name or a good example, a stalking horse for somebody’s seizing power in the government by a false flag movement? which either way is very similar

either way, this is some real Strategy of Tension shit

Walkout campaign Young people are furious about an AI future being forced on us. Nearly half of 18-to-29-year-olds say AI does more harm than good. What's missing is coordinated action that forces the government to respond. So the week of October 20, Students on 100+ college campuses will walk out of class with one demand: pause AI and bring it under public control. Two weeks later, we will go vote.

Distributed organizer role We are seeking distributed organizers to recruit and coach the students who lead walkouts on their own campuses. You'll be responsible for a dozen 'flagship' campus groups, recruiting the leaders and supporting them through the walkout. You'll also coach 'distributed actions,' the campuses that sign up with us on their own, asking for support. You'll work alongside a cohort of distributed organizers, a political-partnerships team, and a digital creator program.

at least the march on rome had the good grace to wear black shirts out in the open about it

Hurling ordure at the TREACLES, especially those closely related to LessWrong.

AI-Industrial-Complex grift is fine as long as it sufficiently relates to the AI doom from the TREACLES. (Though TechTakes may be more suitable.)

This is sneer club, not debate club. Unless it's amusing debate.

[Especially don't debate the race scientists, if any sneak in - we ban and delete them as unsuitable for the server.]
