How odd that he immediately knew it was for him. As if he knows full well what he is doing is evil and that he was there to ruin the citizens of Salem and then escape to his new yacht in the Bahamas.
I mean, you don't need to believe you're evil to understand that everyone else believes you're evil. He probably thinks he's right and it's everyone else who is wrong.
