I'm not surprised given Texas's reputation. Big hats, big trucks, "don't mess with Texas"... yeah how about I just skip Texas entirely next time I visit the States. I hear some parts of it are nice, though, but hot isn't my thing.
Carrying a sword openly sounds awesome in theory but terrible in practice.
I have to go to Texas to complete a bucket list of mine (Visit all the national parks in the US) and I'm trying to figure out how I can do it without spending any money there... Pack in my own fuel, food, supplies, stay at free campgrounds or on public land. I don't want to spend a cent in Texas when I go.
Counterpoint: I've heard Whataburger is worth the money. It's also a Texas-based business, I believe. Never tried it, myself. Not sure if I would or not.
I don't think there is a way I can prevent sending any money to someone in Texas, they have ports, they do a lot of oil refinement. I'm trying not to spend any money in Texas. They have a significant tourism economy, and I dislike the idea of giving tourism money to a state that is famously bigoted, anti-woman, and pro-christofascist.
Gotta have sumthin to shoot at, the more outmatched the better when you're always drunk and sweating barbecue.
I understand. The sword itself incites to violence. Guns are the same. I own a magnum revolver and the weight in your hand screams "someone somewhere needs fixing."
Nobody that hasn't felt that weight can comprehend. Dumbfucks enjoy that power. It scares the shit out of me.
