MODERATORS
There should be more of a plan for young adults and society than "good luck," if they want it. The fact that it's basically chaos is insane to me.
The deprivation of basic human needs and the concomitant necessity of serving capital... These are foundations of capitalism.
If your quest for being used (ie. "employed") is chaotic and fearful, that's a benefit for those who might want to use (i.e "employ") you.
It's a feature, not a bug.
That is what market socialism would be. A Nordic model, but with decentralised planning and ownership in the hands of the workers, rather than the CEOs.
Its the effects of the long lasting ageism. We have been indoctrinated to infantilize those that are the most in need of protection - and now when they become legally of age - full competency is expected.
