A while ago we read Pet by Awaeke Emezi in our solarpunk bookclub. The protagonist is a young trans girl. Though the book doesn't make it a big thing. Its more about finding a human monster (meaning abuser). It's a really good read and rather short (like 130 pages).
Ah, and we also read Proxy by Aiki Mira. All three protagonists are kind of queer, though one of them is a trans femme singer struggling between their virtual and real life identity.
Though I myself didn't like the writing style of the book. Others in the book club didn't have problems with it.
