The level of political rot in this country is at comical levels, as we can see from this race.

There is NOTHING Stevens is better on than Abdul. NOTHING. I cannot believe this horseshit

She's better at taking AIPAC money

[-] mushroommunk@lemmy.today 18 points 1 day ago

She's better at grifting with an AI datacenter building husband. Abdul can't claim that

It really is sad though that 99% of politicians here have completely sold us out. We’re on our own. Nobody is coming to save us

[-] Asidonhopo@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

This kind of doomerism is an AIPAC/GOP/Big Tech talking point designed to discourage voting and you might want to consider not spreading it

[-] SaltyAmerican@lemmy.world 1 points 19 hours ago

If the choices for voting is red fascist or blue fascist there is no point

[-] crispbacon99@lemmy.zip 1 points 10 hours ago

Again mass oversimplification for the sake of selling said viewpoint. There is also Abdul El Sayed on the ballot. A Democratic socialist yet you word it in a way that there's only two options. Sounds like either a foreign shill or not with an obvious agenda.

[-] SaltyAmerican@lemmy.world 1 points 10 hours ago

Its not oversimplification, the only ones that spew the 'discourage voting' bullshit are the VBNMW liberals that wouldnt vote for someone like El Sayed to begin with. In their worldview there are only 2 options, the red fascist or the blue fascist, who they dont see as fascist.

'If the choices for voting is red fascist or blue fascist there is no point.'

A simple repaste of your original comment to show the obvious oversimplification meant to discourage voting

[-] SaltyAmerican@lemmy.world 1 points 58 minutes ago

It's to point out either way you get fascism
