Aligned with this, there was a Oscars ceremony in which some comedian sang "We saw your tits" as the camera went over the faces of the actresses in attendance. It was played for laughs and I don't know the real intention of the comedian, but it opened my eyes to the appalling reality of normalized pressure on women to accept nudity on Hollywood for the benefit of powerful men. It felt so gross I always remember it whenever an unnecessary nudity scene comes up. And in GoT it was a lot of times.

Basically, it feels like: "do you want a career? Get nude because I say so, so everybody can see that you bend to my will. We will see you nude or else."

Kudos to this actress for not playing along.
