And how is that not abusive?
Worshipping God is nothing more than being righteous, God's messages and those of the prophets are just reminders/elucidations for those who don't get it. And ofc, if you love this free experience, you're grateful for it. And being grateful to God necessitates doing the right thing as much as possible.
You damn yourself by having a whole life filled with major immorality and not even repenting for it. I'd understand if you thought "God made us, gave us a short time here and then we all go to Hell forever regardless of what we do. He's a sadist!", but that's just not the case. Such an easy, just "exchange" (again, we're not giving God anything, we can't): you get a freebie and if you're not an unrepentant cunt you get a free eternal upgrade. 👍
