- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.

- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.

I know I shouldn't be shocked by misogyny and I shouldn't get into internet slap fights, etc.
But holy fucking shit. I didn't expect to fully run into grown ass men here on Lemmy who are "genuinely baffled and in disbelief" that women over 55+ can be fit and attractive.
On some instances there's no shortage of men who live up to negative stereotypes :-/
Feel free to point me at any fit and sexy 55+ women, lol

It didn’t take very many comments before I was called a “shit person” for acknowledging attractive middle aged women exist lol
Says way more about them than myself, but cheese on a cracker…. that’s a dumb view to perpetuate.
