The text not being warped the same way as the border lines is unsettling me to a greater degree I ever wanted to admit
When I got good enough at japanese to read manga I realized that the reason every manga isn’t fan translated is not because jp>en translators are uncommon, it’s because typesetting is a goddamn nightmare that no one in their right mind wants to do
It’s (part of) why all the turds that go “ai translation will finally get rid of woke translators” are stupid. Even if ai translation of Japanese wasn’t mediocre it’s nowhere near being able to typeset
The translators tried their best, ok?

decided to have a go at this! making the text appear right is super easy, its just matching one plane up to another, and there's plenty of straight edges. sadly not all software has these features. the hard part was cleaning up the stuff that was in the way!!
jpeg because other formats did not seem to upload?? this instance has really funky photo uploading hehe
remember, if you're gonna be annoyed at something, channel that discomfort directly back at the problem at hand :)
