i care a lot less about social acceptability as I get older. i will be polite once or twice trying to leave a conversation. if I get locked in by the other participant, a firm "oh, excuse me!" then literally just walking away is the last step.

i got stuff to do. ya know?

i try to be polite. once that's used up I got nothin left but "welp!" speedwalks away.
