Yes, users like Ensign_Crab spent all day everyday screaming the "Harris is genocidal" bs every day 2 years ago. And they're still out there all day, every day being a shill for the Putin aligned green party and is remarkably silent on the atrocities of Republicans.

If the election depends on people outside your base mincing their words about your candidate maybe your candidate just sucks.

[-] sneakypersimmon@lemmy.today 27 points 4 days ago

Maybe Harris shouldn’t have committed to funding Israel if she didn’t want to be viewed as a genocide supporter.

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Cool, so now we have a genocide in Gaza AND we're threatening to genocide Iran. Thats so much better than what Harris was going to do.

[-] kreskin@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago

EnsignCrab is still fighting the good fight because people like you are still simping for zionist genociders. You've learned nothing by that last betrayal of the voters and epic failure to win what should have been an easy election. You'll 100% try to lose us the next election too.

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

And trump being in office stopped the genocide right? That was your end goal, right? To stop the genocide.

Or did the genocide in Gaza worsen and now we're threatening genocide on Iran? Do you think Harris would be vowing to destroy an entire civilization?

[-] kreskin@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

My goal was to end the inevitability of this and future genocides yeah. Lets get to universal human rights and destroy those who would oppose it.

Big difference from what you are saying. And you are whining to keep the status quo going.

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

And letting trump win got us closer to that goal?

[-] kreskin@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Its going to plan, yes. If we cant champion the most basic human rights globally and only our own wealthy or Israeli interests, then let it all burn. None of it works for you anyway. Theres no other avenues open to us.

The centrists will just string it along and it'll end up in the same place, just after way more murder and war crimes. Lets just rip the bandaid off quickly.

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

So we're ending genocide by letting turbo genocide happen? By letting Israel kill even more people even faster? By enacting our own genocide in Iran? I guess there can't be a genocide if they're all gone then.

[-] kreskin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

If you pretend the centrist way leads to less genocide then you're not being honest about the history of what was done under Biden, and I get that. You have to get through a massive level of cognitive dissonance to acknowledge that Biden was a genocider and Harris was about to be one. I dont like it either. But neither repubs or centrist dems will refuse an AIPAC paycheck will they. The apr 9 DNC vote proved that conclusively.

So both parties have to change or fail-- neither can be supported. THAT is the way to end genocide sponsorship in the US --because trump is actively burning the government to the ground and its on borrowed time. The dems are closest to being able to turn around, but the only way they do that is if they face the guaranteed threat of losing the next election. We're not playing chicken here with any intention of flinching at the last minute. They stop their genocidal ways or they dont get support and this place continues being taken apart by the magats. Its the only way forward. We're pretty far past letting this play out over time, dont you think?

If you dont like this, whats your idea to stop the genocide? write letters to dem centrist interns, I bet?

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

I'm sure the people of Gaza and Iran are appreciative of your efforts to prevent their extermination by ramping up the extermination.

[-] kreskin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

You've really convinced me blackbelt352: to stop genocide, I will get in line behind the DNC's plan to support genocide.

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

You already made your decision. You got in line behind the RNC's plan to accelerate the genocide.

[-] kreskin@lemmy.world 1 points 20 hours ago

Your girl Harris supported the genocide.

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 1 points 6 hours ago

And your boy trump supported it even harder.

[-] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

What really gets me is that people were surprised the VP of the US wouldn’t be against genocide.

It really speaks to the failure of the education system.

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

So getting trump elected stopped the genocide, right? Since that is the end goal, the genocide ended. How's that going? I guess now we have genocide in Gaza AND threatening it in Iran.

[-] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

That’s not at all what I’m saying and you’re just reacting emotionally.

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Fine, you got me I'm emotional over 2 US sponsored genocides. That doesn't make you emotional either? That doesn't piss you off that we predictably made genocide worse by letting trump win? Jesus fuck, you want to talk about failing education, how about understanding basic cause and effect?

[-] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

I’ve been so pissed about so much for so long that making a genocide worse is barely a blip.

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

At least you're admitting you don't care enough to vote against worsening genocide. Congrats on proving OP's exact point about tankies fucking over Kamala for not being anti-genocide enough and letting trump do turbo-genocide.

[-] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

You don’t know who I voted for.

And you’re so emotional you’re misreading everything I write.

[-] blackbelt352@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

I dont care who you voted for its the "kamala is just as genocidal as trump" rhetoric that discouraged others from voting. So congrats Kamala lost because she wasn't anti genocide enough and now we have double turbo genocide.

[-] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Kamala lost because voters are idiots and don’t understand we don’t get to vote for no genocide.

That’s my entire point.

[-] turtlesareneat@piefed.ca 3 points 3 days ago

She was suggesting we carry on with 70 years of foreign policy, suddenly that makes her an outlier.

[-] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

Exactly. If kids had learned anything they’d know it would take at least another 70 years to change the government’s mind.
