I love that the gas leak is just accepted as a feature of the home, like bay windows or a sunken living room.

Without the gas leak the rent would be almost double.

Knew a family that had a gas leak, it was underground near the house though.

They’d had the gas company there multiple times, but in the end just shrugged and said it wasn’t dangerous and never found or fixed it.

It was too diffused to locate it apparently. And it was a fairly rich neighborhood too. Not very near where I lived thankfully.
