When I was 20 years old, I was in my first relationship. What I learned is that not everyone has the same outlook on what a relationship is.

I was looking to date long term to marriage. And she.......was looking to sleep with everyone in the city without telling me. I was 20 back then, I'm 42 now. My heart still hasn't recovered from my first relationship. I think it may never.

The moment when I found out she was cheating, is because she left the bathroom door open. I was walking by, and she was holding a pregnancy stick in her hand.

I asked what she was doing, and she said "I just want to make sure I'm not pregnant."

I thought about it for a second, and then said "Oh, that's easy actually. You're not. We haven't had sex since your period."

She just said nothing, and looked down. I said "But (name), we haven't had sex....."

Deafening silence. And I just kept repeating it. "But we haven't had sex.....we haven't had sex!"

At this point it didn't help saying it the first time, or the second time. My brain refusing to understand the ramifications of why she was staying silent. Now almost pleading with her in tone, while also yelling.

"BUT WE HAVEN'T HAD SEX!!!!......YOU HAD YOUR PERIOD, AND WE DIDN'T HAVE SEX!!!"

No idea who I was pleading with. Maybe the universe. All I wanted in that moment was for her to realize she was being a ditz, and she couldn't be pregnant because we haven't had sex in weeks.

My brain in that moment was actively refusing the truth.

And that brings me to this quote....

A set of iMessages buried in Jeffrey Epstein’s released DOJ files shows the convicted sex offender privately speculating, in December 2018, that a politically pressured Donald Trump might resort to bombing Iran as a ‘large diversion,’ a theory that reads differently now that Trump has done precisely that.

No. This theory doesn't read any differently, as long as your brain accepts the truth.

And I get it. It's a hard truth to accept. I get what it feels like to have your brain reject the truth, so I know what you want in this moment. You want someone to rip the bandaid off, expose the truth for what it is, and put it out there.

So here's how it goes. Trump rapes children. I'm not using past tense, because I have zero evidence that he ever stopped. He rapes children, but now everybody knows.

The way his brain works is to overload you with so much shit that you can't handle it. You concentrate on too many things at once, and lose track of all of them.

Trump threatened Greenland to get people to stop talking about Epstein.

Trump got aggressive with Canada to get people to stop talking about Epstein.

Trump crippled medicaid and snap to get people to stop talking about Epstein.

Trump is having ICE murder citizens to get people to stop talking about ICE.

And it works. People stop talking about Epstein for a day or two with each new shit trump takes on America.

He's using these tactics to distract. Every day a new calamity. All because people are just as heartbroken as I was. Refusing to believe the truth, that every single thing he does is intentional.

These age verification laws to "save the children" are being introduced by maga. Ask yourself this. Do you REALLY think maga gives a FUCK about keeping children safe?

Legalizing weed in many states is meant as a distraction. Now that it didn't work, republicans are trying to roll back those bills, voted by citizens, to undo them.

So accept the truth. Maga intend to hurt you. It's not a biproduct of terrible leadership. It's the goal. They want all the money and power for themselves, and none for anyone else. They feel no remorse for children they rape. They don't care if they kill you, or your loved ones.

Just like I pleaded with life "but we haven't had sex", America is now pleading that if they just vote for better candidates, it will get better.

No. Wake up. Your president cheated on you. Trump himself is a distraction, set up by Putin to destroy America from the inside. Every scandal intentional. Cruelty is the point.

When America has their wake-up moment, his blood will line the streets. His head on a pike, paraded around town. You can call this a call for violence, and I guess it is, but is the idea of killing every pedophile, and rapist REALLY such a bad idea?

America needs to wake up, and take their country back.

So what's next when the iran distraction lasts 2 weeks tops?

[-] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 10 points 8 hours ago

Throw more shit. Maybe drop an atomic bomb. Maybe on another country. Maybe in Minnisota.

The point to take from this is there's always more shit, and he doesn't care who he hurts/kills. As long as he gets his way.

Cuba. GOP is already printing people for it.

And I've got to wonder what the actual fuck Congress is doing. At this point if they aren't actively fixing it, they are complicit. Politics be damned. They're all just looking out for themselves.
