Chattel slavery also feels dramatically absent
that could be right up there w Holocaust. damn now im wondering what the kill count is for chattel slavery. its gotta be up in the hundred millions. there were many tens of millions of slaves at its peak in the western hemisphere, and it went on for over 300 years (libs try to lower these numbers by only including the US, but there are two whole continents and a giant archipelago that were colonized and turned into settler-slave societies)
can the Caribbean be classified as one archipelago? thats what i was referring to
