atma - my preferred split keyboard at the moment.

Features:

  • wired ortholinear split
  • 36 keys
  • Waveshare RP2040 Zero
  • Diodeless, reversible PCB
  • RJ45 for split comms

First prototype was my spin on the amazing skarrmann/janus. Waiting on the second iteration.

Looks nice - I like the square design of rev. 0.2.

Thanks! Yeah, I prefer it as well. It's >100mm^2^ so no special pricing. But it allows for my preferred thumb cluster and has better MCU placement (it's tricky to unsocket the MCU in v0.0.1).

Ergonomic, split and other weird keyboards

Rules

Keep it ergo

Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn't exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)

i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²

¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid
