Netherlands of all places had the far right running? Hope the far right had no chance.

They have their own version of Trump called Geert Wilders.

The guy looks like Trump even. Has the orange skin and same color hair.

The overton window of each country is unique. The far right in Australia is still less extreme than the far right in the US. For example, they likely wouldn't just dismantle healthcare for everyone. They generally all rely on populism though.

Isn’t Australia’s rightmost parties neoliberal? That’s no less dangerous than out of the closet nazis, they are just better at hiding their dismantling of basic individual rights and services in pursuit if profit.

I personally believe out of the closet Nazis that are allowed to exist are far more dangerous, but to each their own.

Also though, you really couldn't be more wrong, as the person I replied to was about the Netherlands: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pauline_Hanson's_One_Nation

Perhaps if you applied a USA-esque "there are only two parties logic" but that doesn't really translate well to most other countries political systems. Least of all one like Australia that uses preferential voting.
