Sure, but that's why people who have higher standards hate it.
Sounds to me like having high standards makes people miserable.
You say that like there's a shortage of good/great media out there, that people that don't accept schlock just because it's there are left to wallow in anger without alternative. No, we just watch things that aren't garbage. It's not that hard.
There's a ton of great media out there, but whether or not something is good is an entirely subjective matter. If you don't like it, don't watch it. If you do, good for you. Judging people for what they like is shitty.
I mean, if you enjoy spending your life binging bland, low quality shit then I'm happy for you, current times must be a utopia.
