Can someone explain to me why when I was in Vegas this August, I saw some kind of promotional rate at the Primm Valley Resort related to Fallout?
My extended knowledge of Fallout is that Primm is featured in New Vegas. I imagine the hotel rate was a special number as well.
EDIT: It was sad driving up to the Primm Valley Resort parking lot. I went to Buffalo Bills next door and found it abandoned.
There’s a Fallout museum in Las Vegas until the end of the year. Primm is featured in the New Vegas game.

To add to the second part, it's in one of the first settlements you visit after the tutorial and has a short quest where you rescue the kidnapped sheriff and potentially find a new one to help keep the town safe. It's probably pretty memorable because a lot of people would have gotten to it, and there's a giant roller coaster in the background that you can climb up and walk along.
Probably just marketing for the resort.
