MODERATORS
There's literally no good outcome for Dems. Repubs are fine with it shutting down. Repubs are fine with passing the bill, with no compromises. There's nothing Dems can do to force an outcome Repubs aren't fine with, or one that they are.
Republicans only continue to meet so that they can keep up the farce that they are negotiating. At this point, it's time for them to devote their energy to going on the record as widely and loudly as possible that Republicans are forcing a shutdown and are unwilling to actually negotiate to avoid it... and let the bill die.
Repubs are in control, so make them own it and don't legitimize their bad-faith non-negotiations.
