MODERATORS
As a former waiter. If its casual dining, you want to foster a friendly atmosphere where you're relaxed and approachable. Obviously if it's a couple or someone on their own I never would but for families or small groups it's a good way to lower that barrier where people think they can't ask for things or make requests.
