Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. The original has a lot of technical issues, and has essentially become abandonware. However, it's still easily one of Troika's greatest cRPGs, so it's a real shame that it's just being left to languish. The underlying game is interesting enough that I think a fresh coat of paint and some new audio would do a lot to bring in a new generation if players, but would really love if a team of fans were willing to bring it back even better than before.
It's a good shout, but I played it for the first time earlier this year and let me tell you - that game needs more than just a fresh coat of paint to appeal to a modern gamer.
Like all Troika games it had amazing potential and occasionally glimmers brilliantly, but had godawful execution and often plays like dogwater.
Eh, that term is for games that you can't get anywhere, like No One Lives Forever, Mechwarrior 4 or Battle for Middle Earth 1/2. Arcanum has been on GOG and Steam for ages now
