To an extent, sometimes dealing with their bullshit is a waste of air. Nazis don't believe anything that they say, unless if it's convenient for them to. Picking and choosing what is worth wasting air on is important.
I may be biased but uh, as a trans I'd rather this specific misinfo be countered, since it's a major step on the "identify transgenderism as a mental illness and commit them" pipeline.

C/trans has a rule that topics cannot be negative news or depressing.
While I agree to the spirit of your comment, I think it's always good to be aware of your enemy's actions.
It would be better if the headline of the article linked were written with that perspective in mind instead of accidentally sane washing maga slander to maintain objectivity.
