Not defending Newsom, just wanted to point out that what you posted was very old.

I’m not attacking him, just posting some facts some people might be interested in. Many people regard this conflict as a test for US politicians, it’s always good to know more.

Im extremely confused what this has to do with gerrymandering.
The campaign to smear anyone that challenges republicans has started already.
It may not have anything to do with Republicans. The commenter may just be one of the losers that cares more about the Israel issue than letting a fascist and his fascist party take over our nation.
That’s most of them from my experience. Same result at the end of the day either way.

No, of course no. But the gerrymandering laws are related to elections. Trump has been, for a long time, clear about it. There won’t be any more elections. He is a dictator.
Gavin Newsom knows this, like every Democrat, this is not about elections or gerrymandering or talking though to Trump. This is a distraction from Epstein and Gaza.
This is my opinion. If it was a smear campaign, as you can see, I failed spectacularly. Do you think I can smear Gavin from lemmy? Who is being smeared here?
I think for some reason you're putting the fascist cart before the horse, and it strikes me as incredibly unnecessary just yet.
I know, it seems too soon to judge and unnecessarily discriminatory towards any Dem running. I get the sentiment… but these last few years taught me to always consider worst case scenario.

Well, you see, the commenter straight up lied when they said "I'm not attacking him". So with that in mind, it makes more sense that he'd post something that has nothing to do with gerrymandering.

Are you making similarreplies to posts about conservatives? Or are you only try to sour peoples views of democrats? I see a lot of "what about Israel" posts any time a democrat is mentioned. But those same people don't seem to give a damn that republicans are not only doing the same or worse with Israel, but also trying to destroy America.
The destroy America is what this whole post was about, and for some reason you felt compelled to bring up Israel. And I have no problem saying that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and the US is not only complicit, but seeming encuaging it, but that has nothing to do with this post.
“Conservatives” right now are extreme fascists. They talk like nazi, act like nazi and support nazism openly. There is no point in telling a nazi he is one, he knows it and he is proud of it. I try to appeal to a reasonable audience, yes.
People (me included) are genuinely concerned about the involvement of Israel in the US.
If you are a democrat and are expecting a blue wave of votes with Newsom like it happened with Mandami, you will be disappointed. Just like it happened with Kamala.
People do care about this, polls shows it’s their number 1 issue right now. This whole Newsom show about talking though and drawing maps is a distraction from Epstein and Gaza.

Of all the other criticisms people have had of Newsom, you're only posting about his relationship with Israel. This suggests an ulterior motive or a bias on your part.
Look at their post history, astroturfing alt account masquerading as a social media profile.
