MODERATORS
I am on the third episode and it is getting really good. It is a bit jarring at times as there are two cast members who played prominent roles in the Harry Potter movies and two cast members who played prominent roles in Game of Thrones.
The stand out character Akram Salim is played Alexej Manvelov. He is initially introduced as tech support but there is clearly a lot more to his back story.
Sometimes I do love the magic of “Tinsel Town”. Alexej is a sweet playing a Turk. It makes me think about how King Kong only came up to Fay Wray’s belly button.
I have finished the first episode and I am not sure if I am into this show yet. It is about a team of arson investigators and stars Jurnee Smolett, Taron Egerton and Greg Kinnear. Parts are great, there is some interesting story crumbs but there is a little to much trying to hard so far. I am not sure if I would recommend it.
I have done the first episode and HOLY HELL this show rocks. The production values are of the hook and the cast is spectacular. It is a period piece that takes place right after WWI and focuses on a few women who seem to be about to becomes big time criminals.
Tonight will episode 6 of Andor and just like Season 1 it just delivers and fires on all cylinders. It is the first Star Wars live action product I have loved completely since 1980.
Ok late addition
I just started this tonight and wow is it great! Erin Doherty just keeps delivering!!
Really good suggestions I've added them! Thanks for typing them out
