That's total bullshit. The leftists don't get a pass for not doing the absolute minimum to stop the fascists from taking power.
So wait, because politicians from both large parties in America are shit and complicit in genocide, all Americans are assholes who don't care about the outside world?
I think that those fleeing the country are more likely to be those who did not choose this shit. Like I am fleeing America because my life as a gay, Jewish, pro-Palestinian socialist is under threat. But I shouldn't be allowed to be taken in by another country cuz I don't care, right?
Just because Democrats and Republicans are both shit parties, pressuring your government to remove those fleeing for their lives is stupid, unempathetic and extremely hypocritical.
