It used to be Truth, Justice, and Peace. That is until the US went into marketing mode and recruited all superheroes into 'the American way' for WW2 propaganda.

You prompted me to look up an article, and it's an interesting history. Apparently, "the American way" didn't actually appear in a comic until 1991. It's almost exclusively a phrase for radio and television.

You should also look up the images..... Nothing like Batman and Robin on the front lines while still telling kids to buy war bonds in the ads.
